I specialize in custom paintings and portraits of your pets and loved ones and I welcome your commissions. I can create pieces in charcoal pencil, chalk pastel, or oil paint.
My process involves working with you to decide on the medium, size, and overall tone of the artwork. I will acquire a selection of photos from you to decide on the best pose and composition for the subject. Additionally, I can customize the backgrounds of your commissions. Perhaps you want the background to be a certain colour or pattern, or even a specific natural setting. Once all these decisions are made, I create a digital composite of the piece. From there, I get to work creating the final product!
Below is my general pricing based on different art media and sizes of artwork. These prices are for a portrait of one (1) subject with a plain background, unframed. For each additional subject, add 25% to the price. Detailed background prices will be negotiated with me on an individual basis, as will the cost of a frame if desired. I require a 25% deposit of the final price upfront, and full payment is due upon completion of the artwork. I offer delivery for an extra fee.
